KOOP and Austin Friends of Traditional Music proudly present a screening and live Q&A of the music documentary The Shopkeeper on Saturday, Jun 29 at 4pm at Alamo Drafthouse Mueller.  Musician and first-time filmmaker Rain Perry tells the story of the longest continuously operating recording studio and shopkeeper in Austin. After recording Carole King, Ani DiFranco and many great Austin artists, Mark Hallman is struggling to keep the studio open in the era of streaming.  The Shopkeeper captures the frustration and resolute spirit of musicians today, inspiring the audience to create real solutions for musicians and music fans.
